PURPOSE

Dr. Reeves is a mother, educator, author, and librarian. She has been called upon to fill numerous roles in education, government and community development. Moreover, Dr. Reeves is a philanthropist and has served on several national committees advocating for system change, education and community development.

Dr. Reeves is the former Assistant Director of the Rochester Public Library System located in Rochester, New York. Her responsibilities included several direct reports, numerous phases of administration and library services, and a wide range of evaluations of the effectiveness of system-wide programs. In addition to oversight of all ten city-wide branch libraries, she assisted leadership with coordination of shared services of twenty-two county-wide town libraries, which served more than 210,000 residents of Rochester, New York, and surrounding areas.

Currently, Dr. Reeves is the host of Next Chapter with Dr. Reeves, a paid program on KIAH-CW39 Houston every third Saturday of the month from 12:30 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.
